Autism Videos
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away. —Henry David Thoreau, 1854
This is me: I’m five-foot nuthin’, one-hundred and… ahem pounds; a roly-poly, Reubenesque bon-bon of a gal, often described as cute but never sexy. I have two autistic children, an Australian Shepherd named Sugar and an albino frog named Humbert Humbert.
I’ve also got a husband, but he’s sort of a bit-player in the melodrama that is my life. The frog gets more screen time than he does.
From time to time I upload video clips from the autism documentary I am working on in blog postings. (As well as 9-year-old Jaxson's "movies". My kid fancies himself a director!)
I have also written a humor memoir titled I Wish I Were Engulfed in Flames, which will be released this fall by Skyhorse Publishing.
This page serves as an archive for all autism related videos.
